At Harmon Hall we have a pre-teens program, for children aged 10 to 13, in which students can learn English through dynamic, fun, motivating activities tailored to the interests of young people.

While interacting with their peers, students develop the skills of speaking, reading, writing and oral comprehension.

The pre-teens program contains four levels, each containing four courses of eight weeks. At the end of the program students have a grade A2/B1 level of English according to the Common European Framework of Reference for Language (CEFR), and will have the required level of knowledge and skills to successfully pass the Cambridge ESOL Key English Test (KET).
  • Level 1 is aimed at beginners. At the end of course 4, with sufficient motivation and the right attitude, your English will be at approximately level A1 under the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR).
  • Level 2 is aimed at students that wish to build on the foundations of English acquired in level 1. At the end of course 8, with sufficient motivation and the right attitude, your English will be at level A1/A2 under the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages.
  • Level 3 is aimed at students that wish to make the transition from "Basic" to "Independent Users of English" under the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR). At the end of course 12, with sufficient motivation and the right attitude, your English will be approximately level A2 on the CEFR. At the end of level 3, you will be ready to take the Cambridge ESOL Key English Test (KET).
  • Level 4 is aimed at students that wish to consolidate their position as "Independent Users of English" under the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR). At the end of course 16, with sufficient motivation and the right attitude, your English will be level A2/B1 according to the CEFR.
